Evaluation

Brightness tool, pattern tools, contrast tools and edge count tools are used to ensure the part is within spedification. One R130 Ring Light is used to illuminate the part. The light from above provides sufficient lighting for all camera inspections. The parts finish must remain consistent for the application to remain robust. The part must be fixtured for the application to remain robust. The second part can be easily distinguished looking at the reflective properties between the finished and unfinished part. A job change will need to detect this part. The background behind the part must be dark. This will create contrast between the hole with debris and one that is free of debris.

Evaluation conducted by McNaughton-McKay Electric Company.
