It can be frustrating to spend time looking for lost product specs and datasheets. But a new program from Smart Vision Lights will help you keep track of electronic data – along with helping the environment.
Starting November 1, 2015, Smart Vision Lights will soon begin placing a QR (quick response) code on all of its product labels. This initiative replaces data sheets — which can number several pages in length — that are currently included with every light we ship. The data sheet will be in the form of a QR code on the product ID label affixed to each light. By scanning the QR code with a smartphone or any other QR-scanning device, you will always have the latest version of the product datasheet.
From a green perspective, this program will save between 150,000 and 175,000 pieces of paper each year, along with associated printer supplies and electricity.
