Reading code and imperfections on rounded or highly reflective products can be a challenge. Smart Vision Lights’ DDL line of LED dome lights meets that challenge by performing product inspection with an even, uniform, and repeatable light intensity.
The new lights (DDL-100, DDL-150, and DDL-250) are designed to perform product inspection with an even, uniform, and repeatable light intensity. The DDL Dome Lights feature Smart Vision Lights’ MultiDrive controller and built-in driver.
The DDL’s built-in constant ON operation and Multi-Drive Strobe technology allows the light to operate in constant output mode or in overdrive strobe operations. A microprocessor allows the user to either run the light in constant operation or pulse/strobe the light at maximum intensity, all while protecting LED lights from damage. Multi-Drive was developed at Smart Vision Lights, and is the result of merging the constant and overdrive modes.
The DDL-150 Series is a diffuse 6-inch dome light. The 40 LED design and the constant current regulation provided by the built-in driver — along with the semi-reflective white dome — backs the DDL-150 light’s performance.
The DDL series also offers NPN and PNP strobe operation with a built in 0-10VDC analog intensity control for further versatility. The DDL Dome Lights are easily installed or disconnected with an industry-standard 5-pin M12 connector, and are available in white, blue, green, and red.
