After 12 years as the President & CEO, I am excited to announce my retirement from Smart Vision Lights at the end of 2024.
When I took over the role in 2012, we had big dreams for what we could accomplish, but I never could have imagined the tremendous growth and success we would achieve together. Over the past decade, the team at SVL has been instrumental in transforming our business. We’ve expanded into new markets, solidified our position as the industry’s innovative leader, and grown in both team members and sales revenue alike. None of this would have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of our incredible team throughout this journey. I am immensely thankful to the entire team and proud of what we have accomplished together during my tenure.
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Steve VanderZwaag, our current Vice President of Engineering, as the next President of Smart Vision Lights. Steve has been an integral part of our team for nearly four years and will begin the role of President at the end of 2024. Steve’s experience and vision make him the ideal candidate to lead our company into its next chapter of growth and innovation. I’m excited to say that I will continue to be involved on a part-time basis in an advisory role over the next couple of years. This will allow me to support Steve and the leadership team as they continue to chart the course for our company’s future.

Your dedication has been instrumental in our success, and I am confident that under Steve’s leadership, SVL will continue to thrive and deliver exceptional value to all our customers and stakeholders.
