LM45 Mini-Lini Lights Used in Butterfly Valve Inspection

LM45 Mini Linear LightA Tier 1 supplier of automotive exhaust system components needed to automate defect detection on a butterfly valve. SVL partner Neff Group Distributors developed a machine vision inspection system that uses two LM45 lights from our Mini Linear product family. Norwegian University - Hyperspectral Imaging for Detection of Cholesterol in Human Skin

A Norwegian University of Science and Technology Study

"In the experimental part of the study, we recorded HSI of facial skin. In total, 11 volunteers with Caucasian skin type were involved in the study, 8 males and 3 females. Their age was between 25 and 61 with mean age of 46. Blood cholesterol levels of the volunteers were between 125–285 mg/dl with mean value 217 mg/dl, including all three cholesterol level classes: normal, borderline and high blood cholesterol levels. Room temperature was controlled and ranged 24-26.5 °C"
