Smart Vision Lights’ Innovative Illumination Summit, planned for June 8-10, 2016, will live up to its name with a number of illuminating technical presentations by members of the Smart Vision Lights team.
On Wednesday, June 8, Smart Vision Lights’ Director of Engineering, Matt Pinter, will present a training session on measuring and application for lighting. Later that day, Matt will discuss the finer points of high-speed imaging, followed by presentations on UV-florescence applications and matching applications to illumination wavelengths on Thursday.
Also on Thursday, June 9, Ray Hook will talk about the specialized lighting for highly reflective surfaces, including his contribution to the development of Smart Vision Lights’ TL305 Diffuse On & Off Axis Light. Ray is senior manager of Global Serialization for PCI pharma services and leads a global team of experts to roll out serialization equipment and update their packaging lines worldwide.
Finally, on Friday, Jun 10, Smart Vision Lights’ Business Development Manager, Chris Gray, will talk about lighting filters, shrouds, and other tricks with applications, while Matt will help round out the Summit with a presentation on the latest advances in LED lighting in machine vision.
